The Joys of Live Theater

Live theater is always an adventure - you bring 60 people together on a stage and ask them to tell a story. Each of these 60 people brings their own energy, nerves, fatigue, bad hair days, ecastatic good days and channel it all into a common energy to provide the patrons with a story to touch their hearts and enlighten their conscience. In each performance, we trust those around us and know that we're all working toward the common goal. Where else in our lives do we get to do this? What an incredible experience to work with other people in this way!

Thank you for being part of this experience!

Thanks for another great night!

Rest well and see you tomorrow night!

Oh yes - and a reminder that we'll wear all black.

Thank you all for your flexibility tonight! What a ride!! The plan for tomorrow is to run Act 2, then work the one funny transition in "To Life," then work with Tevye and go home early to follow the election night fun.

Fiddler's pitorchestra.com

Hey Pit Orchestra!

Welcome to pitorchestra.com!

Just posting a quick "hello" to get the new blog started for our orchestra. This is a site of mine that I set up for each pit orchestra that I participate in to help get out information, cuts, photos and more.

Add the site to your favorites and keep an eye on it for posts from Angela or myself and make comments, etc. If you take pictures of the group, let me know. You can post them on Flickr or another photo site and we can add links, or I can let you post them here.

See you at the next rehearsal,
~ Matt
