Fiddler Music Changes 7/8/09
Hello, all. Here is a list that includes all changes we've made to the music so far. Sorry for missing a few last time. There are a lot and it looks daunting, but the list includes every little added detail (fermatas, cezuras, etc.). Hope this helps.

-m 34, this repeat is a vamp
-m 35, repeat once (play only two times) FORTE!
-mm 61 through the second beat of m 63 repeat once (play twice)
-mm 80 through 81 repeat once (play twice)
-mm 99 through 100 repeat once (play twice)
-mm 118 through 119 repeat once (play twice)
-m 159 vamp until I cut off (insert a cezura //) – I will lead us into m 160
-m 165 vamp until I cut off (insert a cezura //) – I will lead us into m 166
-m 171 vamp until I cut off (insert a cezura //) – I will lead us into m 172
-m 193 through 200 are CUT

-m 107, only repeat once. (We will play these measures 2 times.)

-m 178 play forte (not mezzo piano as indicated)

-mm 145 through 152, melody (especially in trumpets and clarinets) take down one octave

The measures of this piece are ordered differently. They will be played as follows:
-play mm 1 through 36, then jump to m 47 (continue the phrase if you have a downbeat in m 37)
-play mm 47 through 55, then jump back to m 36 (NOT m 37).
-play mm 36 through 45. Cut the downbeat of measure 36 this time
-a pause replaces m 46 (the singer will hold a note during our pause)
-play mm 56 to the end. Cut beat 1 from measure 56.
